Golding Places has an expanding portfolio of houses and flats available to privately rent, within Maidstone, Ashford and Gravesend.
Customers who rent a property from Golding Places will enter into an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement, which can then be renewed on the anniversary of the term.
Prospective tenants will need to pay administrative fees when securing a property. Golding Places’ literature is being amended following the changes introduced through the Tenant Fees Act 2019, which commenced on 1 June 2019. Please note any new tenancies starting after this date will only be charged fees as set out in the Act.
If the referencing checks are passed a deposit equivalent to five weeks’ rent will be required along with a month’s rent in advance to secure the property. Rent will then be due on the 1st of every month.
Golding Places uses a referencing company to undertake checks on potential market rent customers. For an indication of the household income that would be required to pass the referencing checks, please view our Affordability Calculator.
A guarantor will be required if the referencing check is not passed, and this guarantor will be referenced.
In some instances, we will consider pets on the basis that a non-refundable additional deposit amount is taken on commencement of the tenancy.
