- If you’re looking to remortgage, take some time to look about for better options. Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert, suggests doing an online search to see what mortgage rates are out there and then speaking to a mortgage broker to see if they can beat it.
- Broadband and mobile phones can be expensive. Many people are on old contracts and paying more than they need to so it’s worth checking as you may be able to reduce your bill.
- Could you be overpaying for prescription charges? If you need more than 3 items in 3 months, or 11 items in 12 months, you’ll save money by using the NHS prescription payment certificate (PPC). Further information can be found on the NHS PPC website.
